Virtus Training Scheduled- Sept. 21
OLQM School Hall- 7:00pm
In agreement with the polices of the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens, all adult volunteers working with children must participate in the "Protecting God's Children Program". A mandatory part of this program is attendance at a Virtus training session. All volunteers at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School are required to attend this program. In order to ensure uniformity of information, this requirement will not be waived, regardless of profession or prior participation in a program other Virtus and Protecting God's Children. We recommend all potential volunteers attend Virtus, as you never know when the opportunity to serve as a trip chaperone, classroom helper, lunch parent, birthday observer etc.. may arise. Any volunteer who previously attended Virtus is not required to attend again. We regularly receive updated lists from the Diocese. Register at www.virtus.org. Attendance at any Virtus training, regardless of site is acceptable. Please call the school office should you have any questions about the program or registration process.

You will be able to receive emails every time your child's teacher updates the class website. Logon to the link below or go to the Parent Tab on the homepage, enter your email address and follow the prompts to create your profile. Once you register with the website we will be able to send mass emails about important school information as well.
