UPDATE on Suzanne Vasilak our Art Teacher
Suzanne is currently a patient at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
We have been told that Mrs. V's treatments are working very well and she may be released from the hospital later this week. As a result, she no longer needs blood donations.
Suzanne and her family deeply appreciate your donation of blood and/or platelets and wanted us to express their gratitude. We are hopeful she will no longer need blood donations, but if she does, we will repost the request. Thank you again for your generosity.

Option C Email and Alert System
Recently two notifications were sent out through the Option C parent alert system. If you did not receive an email notification of the weather related NUT day and/or a 9/15/13 email indicating a change in our gr. 5 teacher it is because there is not an email address listed on your Option C account or you have not selected email as an emergency notification preference. This year most mass emails will be sent through Option C, rather than echalk (this system). We are trying to move away from echalk to save costs, and because it is our diocesan required attendance and academic system. Therefore, it is the one system all registered families are entered into. Although our school office inputs mandatory information we do not put in secondary information or determine if you want email, voice and/or text notifications. Families are strongly encouraged to select email as a preference. Keep in mind that texts are limited to a number of characters and voice messages rely on your access to the phone number(s) listed. You may select as many, or as few, alert preferences as you wish. Directions on the Option C system may be viewed by selecting Option C Information on the left side of the echalk home screen. If you have designated an email account as a preference and are still not getting the emails, please check your spam folder.
