Field Day Reminder

This is a reminder that Field Day will be held Monday, May 21st at Juniper Valley Park in Middle Village.  The children will take a bus to and from the park..  Please remember to send lunch in disposable containers and a beach towel.  Also, children must wear their gym pants (or shorts) and the Field Day tshirt or a shirt in the same color as the class tshirt.  If you have not completed a permission slip your child will not come to the park.  Please download the permission slip below if you did not complete it and send it in with your child on Monday. 

REMINDER: For safety reasons, no children will be dismissed from the park or early from school.  It will be a regular dismissal day.

 

 

 

Walkathon Mailers

The walkathon mailers gone out requesting family, friends and associates of our OLQM families to donate towards our Walkathon.  If you would like additional mailers or you are interested in making a donation, please click on the link below, complete the mailer and send it in with your donation.

Thank you for helping us purchase the tools we need to teach the children.  Proceeds of the walkathon are used for Smartboards, laptops, textbooks, and other teaching materials.

ATTENTION  VOLUNTEERS!!!

There are still many parents who have not yet sent back the
NEW Code of Conduct and NEW Background Search forms.

 It is VERY IMPORTANT to fill out the NEW forms if you would like to continue to VOLUNTEER.

Even if you have already attended VIRTUS and filled out these forms in the past, we need you to fill out the new forms.  As stated in the letter we sent out with the forms, the difference between the NEW forms and the OLD is that the NEW forms allow searches to be done periodically where as the OLD ones were a one time thing.

Stop and Shop A+ Rewards Program begins October 7th

Register your Stop and Shop savings card to help OLQM.  For every dollar you spend with your card, OLQM receives a point. We then receive a check at the end of the year based on the number of points we have accumulated. 

So register your card at Stop and Shop Card Registry  and start earning money for OLQM.  At the registration screen enter our school code--06476.

Remember to ask friends and family to register for our school.  You may enter more than one school.

Just by shopping for your family you will be earning money for our school. 

Parent Email Alerts Updated
We are pleased to announce that the parent email alerts for homework are now sent at 4PM.  For those of you who have not yet registered on the website please follow the directions below. 
Parents are now able to sign up for email alerts from their child's class page.  You will be able to receive emails every time your child's teacher updates the class website.  Logon to the link below or go to the Parent Tab on the homepage, enter your email address and follow the prompts to create your profile. Once you register with the website we will be able to send mass emails about important school information as well.

Just one more way for us to stay connected!

The My Coke Rewards Program is having several Sweepstakes for Schools.  If you go to www.mycokerewards.com and register with the website you will be able to enter the codes from the tops of your bottle tops or from the multipacks to earn rewards for the school.  Just enter your rewards and then donate them to the school.  We will be able to purchase gym equipment and audio visual equipment using our points.
